Is there a standard audio format for an online audition?

Adhering To The Standard Audio Format

The standard audition would generally be a 30-60 second recording of dry voice, meaning no music or sound effects included, formatted as an MP3.

Some voice talent opt to slate their name at the beginning of the audio recording. After being awarded the job, the final product should be recorded according to the terms agreed upon in the contract.
