Greatness is just something we made up. Somehow. We've come to believe that greatness is a gift reserved for only a chosen few for prodigies and superstars and the rest of us can only stand by watching well you can forget that Greatness is not some rare D. N. A. Strand. It's not some precious thing. Greatness is no more unique than us than breathing. We're all capable of it all of us. Greatness is nothing more than a belief system. Do you believe? It's been said many times before but it's the little things that count those small daily progressions. Hard work, determination. Never giving up. No matter what it takes. It's not just another day it's a step closer. A new lesson to be learned. An opportunity. If we show emotion, we're called dramatic. If we want to play against men we're nuts. And if we dream of equal opportunity delusional when we stand for something we're unhinged when we're too good. There's something wrong with us and if we get angry, we're hysterical, irrational or just being crazy. But a woman running a marathon was crazy. A woman boxing was crazy. A woman dunking crazy, coaching an NBA team crazy. A woman competing in hijab changing her score, Landing a double cork 10 80 or winning 23 grand slams having a baby and then coming back for more crazy. Crazy. Crazy and crazy. So if they want to call you crazy, fine, show them what crazy can do.
