It's true that we all have this challenge of trying to balance our work life, our personal life. When you're in a relationship, you want to be the perfect spouse. When you're single, you want to meet the perfect person, the charming prince or princess. We want to be the best mom or dad. We want to perform at the professional level, and at some point we forget ourselves. We forget ourselves on. I've always said the same thing. If you forget yourself, I'll tell you one thing you can't give back. You can't be a good mom or at least not as good as you want or good dad, or contribute as much as you want professionally. If you forget yourself, I'm sorry, but that's right. And that's it, folks. Emotional intelligence. It's that ability to say I'm getting to know myself. I'm learning that some situations are scary for me, and I'm not putting myself in these situations on purpose. I'm learning to change my energy scores. We'll talk about that in a few minutes.
