Common character types: girl next door, older sister, mentor/teacher, romantic lead, awkward nerd, hippie flower child, valley girl, hipster, anxious overachiever

Voice Sound: low, smooth, breathy

Other useful adjectives my voice has been classified as: soothing, reassuring, playful, millennial, girly, alluring, articulate, intelligent, grounded, helpful, conversational, natural, friendly, warm, inviting, approachable, knowing, sly, wise

I have the same singing range as most of my male tenor friends! But am happy to utilize the upper register as well, for singing/character voices/animation.

Also, as someone who moved from NY to CA as an awkward middle-schooler, I love exploring dialects, and learning new accents!

Choosing VoiceOver artists for your characters is a lot of fun. However, you want to find people who will put in the work to truly bring them to life. Enter Cleo Handler. When she auditioned, I immediately thought 'that's the voice of my character.' The artistry and dedication that followed was amazing. Cleo really dug in and understood my character. Communicated well. Followed direction to the letter. Great sound quality and organized files. Highly recommend VoiceOver artist.
