Clive Chafer

My voice is engaging and authoritative. I "own" the material, so it doesn't sound like a hired voice, but an expert. I never talk down to my listener: s/he is always my equal. My natural voice is mid-range, not thin or booming. My native accent is neutral: Home Counties English, with no obvious regional inflections. I am well-educated and intelligent, but not a toff. My articulation is precise and clear (I teach voice and speech) and I have excellent breath control, having trained as a stage actor. My voice is supple and flexible: I can adapt it to a wide range of characters and situations.
