Lee is a wonderful narrator. We used his voice in a documentary film and I am extremely happy with the results. I hope to use him again in the future.

Lee Goettl expertly narrated two audiobooks for us written by the President of our company – one educational nonfiction and one narrative memoir. We love the products and highly recommend him.



We chose to work with Lee not only for his crisp, flawless demos, but his vast experience and impressive resume (he’d done over 70 books, including for major publishers, at the time we hired him). Lee’s narration is perfect for audiobooks. He is clear and articulate, and was able to convey the confidence, sincerity, and humility of the author’s voice. He provides enough vocal, volume, and emphasis variation in his sentences to strike that perfect balance of being engaging and entertaining without being overdone. He also worked wonders with the informational asides in the educational nonfiction, making it clear when there was a break in the main text and when it resumed.



We were counting on him to expertly guide us through the process as we were brand new to both audiobooks and working with narrators. Lee delivered with flying colors. His communications were prompt, professional, and it was easy to work with him and communicate changes along the way. We are extremely pleased with the outcomes of the books, and so grateful to Lee for making this a smooth, easy process. We highly recommend him, and will gladly use him again when Dr. Dance finishes his next book.
