sure we all are familiar with the way pirate speak, but we never think of the origin of that accent. Most private here's come from Western Europe, such as Ireland, Wales and Scotland. Their cadence and way of speaking made its way to the Caribbean, adapted by the Jamaicans and other people they encountered slash colonize. It is no coincidence that a pirate accent, the Irish and the Caribbean or have similar sounds to them.
