Description

This demo shows that I can perform a more vulnerable character sharing this deeply personal story. I wanted to show that the character has both gigantic power, but also fear of that power, as it is beyond his control. I think that this character could be used for animation or video games.

Magic has always come pretty naturally to me controlling it. Not so much. There was an accident last summer when bandits attacked our village while the men were away at war. I didn't want to hurt anybody but I had to do something to help. So I just tried to scare them away. I pictured the leader's cape on fire. Instead, a gigantic fireball erupted from him. It, it killed most of the bandits, but it also set our crops on fire. Our people tried to save what they could but it was too late. We lost everything. A lot of my friends and neighbors died. They called me a monster. They cast me out ever since then. I knew that I had this enormous power inside of me and I've been afraid that I'd never learned how to control it.
