(Chinese Part)
This paragraph is reciting from one of my favorite books called ‘’Your goodness must have some edge to it.’’ Although this famous saying is coming from Ralph Waldo Emerson, the author is a Chinese psychologist who observes every kind of phenomenon in working place and social interaction.
For me, this paragraph has an important meaning. The author told us that we should pay attention more time on ourselves than other people who like to stick labels on us. Just like the author said: ‘’ On the one hand, we cannot control the world how to run it, but we have to control ourselves. We have our mission by nature, and we must complete it as possible as we can, so we have no much time to waste on other’s thoughts.
On the other hand, no matter what gifts God gave us, only we have a grateful mind and joyful heart, then we could receive it from God and possess it in life.
By all means, from time to time, it’s unnecessary to guess other’s thought, because no matter how kind you are, you still suffer from malice; no matter how sincere you are, you still are doubted; no matter open-mind you are, you still are treated hypocritically. Accept this fact, maybe you will put down the comparison, and live yourself carefree in the world.

This saying is from a book called ‘’ Bright Wisdom’’. The author is a wise cultivator named ‘’ Ji-Gong living Buddha from I Kuan Dao, the religion I believe in deeply. Ji-Gong living Buddha told us that we live in the world should stay clear in mind, rather than busy blindly in life. Only one way can help us stay calm is keeping a peaceful mind. Focus on your goal with a righteous and kind heart, this is also the‘’ Dao’’ spirit.
