About Jennie

Once I (finally!!) realized that I am surrounded every day by voice actors (on my TV, car radio, the videos I watch on my phone, sales pitch while on hold) I KNEW this was something I was capable of and very much wanted to do. It was time.

My 7 years in the theatre, my degree in Theatre Arts, and 3 months studying Acting in England have gathered a lot of dust while I did "life", getting a paying job, raising children, etc. Time to dust those things off and use my talent.

My voice is medium range, neither particularly high nor low, though I can use a lower range to be reassuring and soothing. The middle range enables me to be informative, conversational and persuasive. If I kick it up a notch, I can be angry, strident or insistent (just ask my kids).My range enables me to adjust to the needs of your script.

I am also a singer, mid-soprano, so no crazy arias but I am definitely not an alto. I have spent 20+ years singing in bands, vocal and a cappella groups.
