Chemical engineering creatively combines the three basic physical sciences, chemistry, physics and biology, along with mathematics to address the world's needs by creating new technology and improving existing technology. But what does this really mean? Basically, it's providing clean water and sanitation to communities, also advancing healthcare to clear diseases by developing drugs. Another one is researching and producing foods to feed a growing global population. Also designing greener products and processes and finding new ways to generate energy. According to another source, Chemical engineering is one of the broadest of the engineering fields, focused not only on chemicals, which make up everything, but also in developing and designing plants and processes for manufacturing chemicals. Now, let's say that we've come up with an amazing new product that we have to hurry it through a chemical process, whatever it is, we all go through them steps before we become successful. And in order to know how to do that, it would help if you understand a little bit about the history of chemical engineering.
