Changing the brake pads in the C five Corvette is pretty simple, but here is a run through with a few tricks to make it as easy as possible. First off removed the wheel to get the brake rotor. Be sure to follow the guidelines for properly raising and lowering your car for the front brakes. First, insert a pair of large screwdrivers between the outside arm of the caliper and the outside pad. Without little pressure, you can compress the pistons and push them back down into their sleeves. Try to get the pistons down as far as you can to make it easier to install the new paths.
