Who are you? We can help you defeat this beast. Leo stood next to Harley, the leader of the blade men as he watched the enormous snake recoil and plan to strike again. The fighter who was feet away from Leo and Harley stood up. She was small but very strong looking and had jet black hair that was slicked into a ponytail. I am Sina and I am a great fighter. I advise you two ordinary people to leave at once or else this snake will not hesitate in eating you both. Leo shook his head. The giant snake curled back and then lunged forward to strike. Leo quickly threw his hands out in front of him and his needles started glowing with a bright red light and shot straight towards the snake. The needles pierced the snake's face and the snake let out an earth shaking his Leo flung his hands and the needles flew back to him. The snake curled up as if to strike again but then hesitated at the last second and retreated. Xena's eyebrows raised. I, I don't believe it. It seems as if the snake is afraid of you and your powers. I've never gotten the beads to retreat in such a way. Leo peered at the giant snake. Is it defeated? Zina let out a short laugh. Absolutely not. It is just biting its time until it will strike again. But now it is fearful of you, which is a good thing for now. At least once it decides to strike again, we might be doomed. Well, thanks for your help. Xena turned around and started walking towards the snake. Leo jogged to keep up with her. What are you doing? Are you crazy. You just said the snake will attack again. So why are you walking towards it? Xena rolled her eyes. I am not walking towards the snake. I'm trying to get to the cave that it is protecting. Leo turned to look at the snake. Surely enough. There was a large cave behind it. What is in the cave? Xena smiled a very, very powerful elixir or at least that is the rumor. No one has been able to get in there. Leo narrowed his eyes. Wait, how are you able to be in the forbidden area? I heard that no one makes it out of here alive. Zeena laughed. Yes. Well, that is partially true because many people are dumb and clumsy, but it is also a way we keep unwanted people out of the forbidden area. There are many powerful things in here which we would not want to fall into the wrong hands. Leo nodded. I see. Well, it's very effective. I think if people knew about this giant two headed snake, that would be well enough to keep them out of here for good. Xena shrugged and kept walking. Leo kept pace with her. Harley walked a short distance behind them. Leo glanced at the snake then back at Xena, I will accompany you to get the elixir. Xena stopped in her tracks. Normally, I would say absolutely not, but I think that you're my only real chance at obtaining that Elixir. So fine, Leo smiled. I knew you'd see things my way. The trio continued walking towards the cave. Suddenly the snake hissed. Xena turned to look at the two headed snake. Looks like our time is running out. Leo turned to face the enormous creature. We are going to get the elixir in the cave. If you are sensible, you will leave. I won't hurt you and you can continue to live in this forest. If you attack us, you will meet your end. The snake paused for a moment, then roared up into the sky. Then it quickly came back down gaining speed as it aimed straight for Leo. Leo squared up against the snake. It seems like the snake wants to fight. Leo waved his hand and his needles flew out in front of his face. He spun his hand so the needles began to spin. They glowed in a fiery red hue. Leo inhaled and a white glow of power emitted from his body. Leo stepped forward as he lifted his arms up, forcing the needles to shoot directly towards the snake. The needles clashed with the snake and pierced its face. Once again, the snake screeched in agony and its heads thrashed and turned. Leo waved his hand to recall the needles and then shot them back out. He continued this attack relentlessly assaulting the snake. Leo stepped forward, the golden glow growing even more powerful as he continued to direct his needles towards the snake. Leo furrowed his brow as he continued the attack. This snake is very powerful. I don't know why. I'm surprised because I have never seen a snake of this size spontaneously grow two heads but still, it is very difficult. Zino watched Leo's attack and furrowed her brow. Will he be able to defeat the snake? I want to help. But my energy has already been drained from attacking the snake before the snake seemed to be slowing down and it screeched hisses of pain more and more often. Suddenly there was a loud bang. Leo's needles had grown to an enormous size and he had pierced a hole through the snake blood. The color of liquid gold was gushing out of the snake. Its red eyes were flashing wildly looking for relief. Leo waved his hands and the needles returned to his side and to their normal size. The snake tried to move its two heads one last time but fell to the ground lifeless. Leo turned around and walked back towards Xena and Harley. The snake has been defeated. Xena's mouth dropped to open in shock. How is this possible? You seem so young but you possess such immense power. Leo smiled. I have trained for a very long time in the art of healing and luckily for me that has extended to my fighting abilities, Xena quirked an eyebrow still. That doesn't exactly explain what I just saw. I've never seen anyone fight like that. Heck, I trained my entire life and I couldn't hold a candle to what I just saw, Leo held his hands up, please. You're flattering me. Anyway, we should get going before that snake reawakens. Harley furrowed his brow. Leo, that snake is completely lifeless. It's not going to wake back up. Xena nodded Leo's right. Actually, although the snake looks as if it has been defeated, every creature you encounter in the forbidden area is actually immortal. Harley's eyebrows shot up his forehead in shock. Immortal. So you're telling me that giant monster is going to come back to life. Xena let out a short laugh. Yes, but don't worry, it usually takes a few months. Leo turned to face the cave. Should we go into the cave? Harley blanched. I, I don't know about that. If this giant snake was out here, I'm sure there are even worse creatures inside the cave. Xena smiled. Oh yes. There are much, much scarier things inside Leo shrugged and started walking towards the cave. Then I will go in and get your elixir for you. Xena shook her head. But why, why are you helping me? You don't even know me, Leo smiled. What else am I to do? I help those who need it? It is my calling Harley and I happened upon you in this forbidden area. I think it's only right that I help you carry out the mission you are here for. I will come back shortly with your elixir. Looked to the ground. I I don't have any money or any way to repay you. This is not a fair exchange. Leo put a hand on Xena's shoulder. I never ask for anything in return. Like I said, I just want to help those who need it. Leo turned around. I am ready to face the cave.
