the town of Lum Dale is an utterly unremarkable little town, complete with its fill of quaint tourist traps and rather, two dimensional residents. The town thrives, you see on its Cory industry, and the rare few who possess a passion for rocks and minerals are not known for being spontaneous. Or forgive me particularly interesting people. You may be saying to yourself. Narrator If there's nothing interesting about the town of Lawndale, why on earth do you live there To that dear reader, I shall say this. First off, my name's Jenny Pal away, not narrator, second, working as a private detective does not, as some say, bring home the bacon, some willing to overlook Lum Dale's cardboard qualities in favor of its rather attractive property taxes and low rent. Besides, any town has some interesting elements. If only you look closely enough. The first of those interesting elements is my roommate, Luanne Dunigan. I met lose some eight months ago when Lum Dale's cheap costs a living first Draman, and she's proven herself to be a valuable resource and dear friend. I will admit that, like most people, I was thrown off at first by her petite stature and pretty face Palin freckled with strike and green eyes and failed to see the true depth of her character. Part time day care employees in part time waitress Blue Works to pay her half of the rent and put herself through LenDale Community College for a teaching degree. Another rather interesting quality of Lawndale is its utter lack of crime. Save the recent string of Slate Street slashings. I can practically see your eyes widening. Dear reader, Please be patient. We'll get to it. Lum Dale hasn't even had the smallest felony charge in a good six months. Not the best situation for a private eye, but I do appreciate the safety.
