About Mason

I grew up in the Deep South (only Korean family in town) but have lived in New York for a number of years. My parents are great singers and some of this rubbed off on me as well. This enables me to slip in and out of Northern and Southern accents. I pursued a career as a professional golfer before attending law school and becoming an attorney. As an attorney, I have read and researched legal issues extensively and am comfortable with complex terminology. My natural voice is an authoritative yet friendly tone that reassures clients and readers alike. Having spent many years practicing or studying alone, self-motivation is a voice I know well. I also studied pre-med in my undergraduate studies and am comfortable with medical/scientific terminology. Then I took a Shakespearean class one summer and ultimately pivoted to major in English literature. Acting out books in class ultimately lead me to becoming a narrator.

I believe in using our talents to help other people and contribute to a better world. Everyone learns differently and being able to present information in an audible medium could finally help someone change their lives. I wasn’t allowed to watch TV as a child, so I read every book I could get my hands on in our town's library. I continue to read as much as I can and love getting lost in a good book, whether it's related to self-improvement or sci-fi/fantasy. I love to watch movies that bring a character to life and strive to do the same through my narration.
