My mother found this poem \"If\" by Rudyard Kipling in a house clearance sale. It was framed, written in fountain pen, in beautiful handwritten script. Likely someone's school project. My father said \"these are good rules to live by\", which lodged in my teenage brain. I've loved the poem ever since.
