We hired Max to voice a 3 minute animation project. I had compiled a shortlist of 10 voices for our client to review, and they chose Max's voice, appreciating the natural, human, person-next-door kind of feel. They did not want a voice that was too polished or professional sounding, and Max has that natural tone and delivery. Warm and approachable.



We set up a directed recording session which was very handy (through Zoom or Google Meets or something). When working with a new talent that has the "community/human sound" and that is perhaps "less polished", it can take a bit more time to direct and receive the desired delivery, which makes sense. I think Max is early into a voice career, so we had to work at the read to really get the dynamic range required for the voiceover.



I enjoyed the session, the client was happy and we'd hire Max again for the right project.
