About Michelle

Hi there! I’m Michelle Reiss (pronounced like the peanut butter cup), and I’m a Filipina-American voice actor. I’m a full-time professional with a broadcast-quality home studio, and I’m available to record locally here in Las Vegas, Nevada as well as in Los Angeles, which is just a drive away. I’m exceptionally easy to work with, turn projects around quickly, and am always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you’re satisfied!

I excel at the believable, real-person, conversational read, as well as reads that are warm, soothing, and inspirational. I’ve been told that my natural sound is “contemporary” and that I have a “millennial superpower,” which is a great power that I use with great responsibility. I’m a young millennial and talk like one, but my vocal age also naturally dips down into Gen Z. And for character work, I can sound like kids–both girls and boys! As an actor, I’m always ready to get into character no matter what genre of voice over I’m doing, from commercials to explainer videos to characters and everything in between.

I’ve served as a studio engineer for 5+ years at The Voice Actors Studio in Las Vegas, operating the sound board and recording audio during voice over workshops. In university I studied music, creative writing, and psychology, which means I’m awesome at finding the melodies in scripts, picking copy apart, and reading minds (just kidding on the last one).

We needed an American voiceover for our UK product video and our client chose Michelle.

What a great choice!

She was a joy to work with, offered us 3 slightly different takes and gave a flawless performance every time.

It was especially useful to be able to listen in on the recording session via Zoom and Michelle took direction very well.
