About Mike

Mike has always been in love with performing, word play and the creative arts. When he was in high school, he got permission from the “office ladies” (remember what they were like) to use the high school office to set up and launch a “closed circuit” radio station that played the Beatles throughout the hallways before first class started. In early college, he was the front man for a short-lived (we all had to get real jobs at some point) rock band. Community theater stage plays and behind the Mic have always been two of Mike's ‘happy places’. When he's not playing at his craft, he's at the gym or yoga class, as well as being a sort-of competitive swimmer and a beach guy who wants to, but has not yet, learned how to surf. In what little spare time he has, you’ll probably find him walking his dog Phoenix along the beach with lots of sand between his toes or driving his 20 year old classic convertible, top down, around his little town all four seasons of the year. People have often told Mike that he's “intense…in a laid back California kind of way” and one of his favorite quotes is… Acting = “Living truthfully under imaginary circumstances”. He'd love to bring his unique experience, perspective and talent to your next project, fun included. He is a professional, warm, friendly, easy-to-work with actor. Mike also has a business management background, so he understands what it takes to be an entrepreneur and operate a successful business.
