Oreo is the world's most beloved cookie. Well, other cookies are just cookies. Oreo is all about fun and play and we wanted teams to know that. So we decided to create the Oreo challenge. The rules are simple. You and a friend have to hold on to both sides of an Oreo cookie and pull whoever gets the cream wins. The loser has to call the Oreo phone a special challenge hot but with over 50 random funny and exciting challenges that the loser has to implement. As we all know, every great challenge starts on youtube. So we got sharks, a popular Israeli youtuber of monkeys to get the cookie rolling along with another beloved youtuber. Might have failed. The results of the campaign were amazing. And soon everyone was playing the Oreo challenge. Hundreds of teens and famous youtubers were now making their own videos of themselves playing the Oreo challenge making it the most viral internet trend among teens in Israel and not just on youtube. The challenge also took over Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook. Over 272,827 calls were made to about 15,000 calls per day. The campaign reached number one on March Glop's youtube ad index. Oreo market share increased by almost 10% versus last year. So next time someone tells you not to play with your food. Give them an Oreo.
