Nigel Slaughter

I am an audiobook narrator, a British English speaker with a wide range of English and European regional accents. To date I have completed 4 audiobooks and have number 5 in production. I am an actor, appearing in 2 to 3 repertory theatre productions per year (often the 'bad guy'). I love telling stories and getting inside characters, bringing them alive. Alongside story-telling, I am comfortable with high tech and science topics having founded and run a deep-tech chemistry company. Here I narrated a number of commercial science and technology explainer videos. I also speak German fluently, having both studied it and lived in Germany. I now live in rural New Zealand and have a soundproofed home studio with an audiobook recording booth.
