Jack is staggering towards a fallen tree clutching his side. His hand is red. He sits down and stares into nothing. You know, I got close so close. There's a girl waiting for me. You know, I guess she's gonna be waiting a while longer. He looks to his left and sees his father how he remembers him. At least a tailored black suit with a red tie and a top hat on his head. I always imagined this was how you died, that saving the people you love. I just wish I could have saved mine a little sooner. I just wanted to be like you, but I'm not, am I I actually saved them dad? And I know I'm gonna die for them too. And that, that's ok. At least I did something good in the end. Jack's breath is raspy. His father takes off his hat and looks at his son for the first time in years. Well, you've done good things and you've done bad. Congratulations. That makes you human. And well in the end, you were a brave man. Jack Jack coughs and looks to the ground. His eyelids are heavy. Does it hurt? He asks. His dad replies. I wouldn't know, would I? Right.
