you're not gonna get any of the Carolina Panthers players to talk about a Super Bowl curse. But the Panthers are in danger of becoming the 13th team in NFL history to miss the playoffs following a Super Bowl loss. Panthers felt a one and four after Monday night's 17 to 14 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers without M v P quarterback Cam Newton back up. Derek Anderson threw for 278 yards but also had three costly turnovers, including an interception in the end zone. With the game tied at 14 the Buccaneers then went down for a game winning field goal from Roberto Aguayo, who had missed twice earlier in the game. The Buccaneers, who are now two and three, will take Mo Mentum into their bye week. But the Panthers have a quick turnaround to try to get things going next week at New Orleans.
