Meditation, basics for mindful meditation. Find a quiet, comfortable place outside. If possible to connect with the natural energies around ideal for boosting mood and Peacefulness. Relax, set a gentle alarm if you want to time your session, close your eyes. If you are comfortable doing so, to limit visual distraction, breathe, breathe naturally, feel your body grow on the in breath and feel it collapse on the out breath. Imagine your inhale has the scent of roses or your favorite flower or herb filling you from top to bottom cleansing and clearing any negative hurt or fear. Visualize your exhale, taking with it, anything causing you pain as you replace it on the inhale with soothing kindness. Focus, keep your attention on your breath. When it wanders gently acknowledge it and return your focus to your breath. Be grateful when your timer sounds or you are ready. Return your focus to your surroundings, open your eyes, wiggle your toes, place your hands on the floor or in the dirt or on the chair in which you sit. Take a moment to give thanks for the quiet time and be grateful for the space that welcomes you before returning to your normal activities?
