Steven Humes

DEEP VOICED Steven Humes is a two-time Grammy Award winning international opera singer. He has been involved as an "American voice" in the European voice-over market for over 10 years. He won a Golden Eagle for a documentary narration in 2007. His 'American voiced, Mid Atlantic dialect' work with Digital Publishing in Munich, Germany has produced audio books and countless CD-rom courses teaching Germans how to speak English.

Whether it's casual, powerful, delicate, matter of fact, with close to 750 opera performances under his belt, he will deliver what you ask. As a natural OPERATIC BASS, his low voice needs no 'pitch-correction' to achieve the intense Movie Trailer or Darth Vader voice: thus resulting in an extremely rich sound that is not 'processed'. ("If only they had called me for Smaug!" he says.) The 'other guys' push their voice down or get a gravel tone, which is taking their voice out of their voice. Not so with Steven.
