a moment later, Michael Clarke was back at the podium. Dear friends in a moment. I will welcome to the stage, our very own United States Senator James Dakota smith walking around the outskirts, Bethany looked over the sea of people. The crowd seemed to be in a festive mood After several hours of food, drink and celebration truly. This is a day for celebration. The wonder drug has contributed greatly to the well being of millions of lives. Once again, a joyful buzz rippled through the audience. Mr Clark waited for it to die down. No one likes to be a downer at an event such as this. But even in the midst of our celebration we have some sadness. The crowd hushed. Bethany looked forward. Her dad was now quite small at the podium. She looked up at one of the many screens that had been erected for the event yesterday. One of our beloved citizens and a dear friend of mine died in a car accident. Many of you know, robert Everett a longtime fixture at the library and records office. He was a quiet man who was always willing to help let us take a moment of silence to honor his memory. A wave of sadness washed over the crowd as the message was new for some and a reopened wound for others, many of the people there had known and liked. Mr Everett a minute later. Mr Clark continued as a memorial. We have a video we'd like to play after the video. I will invite Senator smith to the stage
