Terri Bakken

It's Terri Bakken talkin' (which gives you an idea on how to pronounce my last name!) My voice covers several ranges, ages and types of inflections. I can also do character roles. While I have a normally warm and inviting voice, I can do sarcasm, dead seriousness, and other moods, as well. People say I sound genuine and believable in whatever script I read. I have been professionally trained as an actor and voice over artist and bring sincere believability to my work. After being an English and foreign language teacher, I have a working knowledge of 6 languages and can pronounce all of them well , although with an American accent (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Turkish). I have also lived around the world and bring that intuitiveness to my performance. With television commercials filmed in Mexico and the US and working as a rock radio disk jockey and 1st class FCC engineer in Seattle in earlier times, I'm versatile, take direction well, and produce excellent results.
