So we've learned that serotonin is an important natural chemical within each of us that makes us feel proud and accomplished, while another natural chemical our body produces is called oxytocin. ACSI toasting is often referred to as the love chemical because it is released when we hug or kiss a loved one. There are other ways oxytocin can be released to. Studies have shown that oxytocin has a positive effect on social behavior and the building of trust. It helps us feel safe by knowing someone has our back. We feel security knowing that we are not alone.
