on the 16th of October 1984 Swiss couple a meal and Liliyana Schmidt boarded an Iceland air jet with their Toyota Land Cruiser bound for New York. Originally, this journey was pencilled in as a one year world tour, but the Schmidt soon discovered that one year was not going to be enough. They've travelled through 172 countries and covered over 680,000 kilometres. They've danced away from elephants, sang with 100 tribes of mountain Hargon, dined with a guinea and cobra, and even tackled the swells of Hurricane Jeanne.
