Hello, everyone. And welcome to veg talk. My name is Mike and I am your host. BEJ talk is all about everything vegan. Why vegan you ask? Well, the answer to that is simple. Vegan is much more than a diet. It's a lifestyle. I personally have been vegan for about 2 to 3 years now, and during that time I've been 100% vegan without relapse or cheats. For about a year, I decided to go vegan originally due to my own health issues, and during my journey, I have lost over £70 discontinued my medication and noticed significant improvements in my health and happiness. Once I committed to the diet aspects of being a vegan, I found that everything else fell into place. I began educating myself by reading books related to big agriculture and other vegan topics. Along with watching every documentary I could get my hands on, However, I found myself wanting to get more involved in the vegan community, the movement as a whole education and more. This led me to my cousin, my cousin and his girlfriend at that time had been vegan educators for several years together and founded an organization I began working with this organization, assisting with planning and structuring a vegan events and absorbed all the information I could about a vegan lifestyle. What this newfound community I began understanding much more than a diet aspects of veganism. There are many of you out there who may not be vegan but maybe considering it or have vegan friends or family and just want to understand more. This show is a safe space for all. There will be no arguing, fighting, shaming or discussion of other topics than vegan, though at times difficult topics may come up, such as politics causes actions, etcetera. We will work hard to stay factual, direct, educational and non confrontational to all parties to ensure we maintain the safe space. I wholeheartedly believe the key to changing minds is to allow people to make that change for themselves. Hopefully, we can direct them to make that change before they suffer health effects such as I and many others have. We will always work to ensure that we only support vegan businesses or vegan organizations, and when possible, we will focus on local vegan businesses or organisations. Some examples of topics we plan to discuss on this show will be vegan business and organization, of course. Vegan products, health topics, nutritional topics, news on the industry, whether it be big agriculture or the vegan movement updates, event coverage and promotion of vegan events, team building topics, advocacy topics, plans or ideas to help you in your advocacy recipes and much more so if you're vegan, veg curious or just want to get more information, please tune into this show. Support our organizations, companies and programs. And also don't forget toe like comment, subscribe and support veg talk and its partners.
