I don't know what happened. I was supposed to take her to the fireflies and walk away. You go halfway across the country with someone she needed her immunity to mean something. Maybe I was starting to buy into that whole cure business. Maybe I just wanted to do right by her and then we made it, we found the five ways and because of her, they were actually going to make a cure there. Any catch it would kill her. This war has brought us pain and suffering and loss, but it's also brought us together as soldiers, allies, friends. This bond that ties us together is something the reapers will never understand. It's more powerful than any weapon. It's stronger than any ship. It can't be taken or destroyed. The next few hours will decide the fate of everyone in the galaxy. Every mother, every sun, every unborn child, they are trusting you, depending on you to win them. Their future, a future free from the threat of the reapers. Take heart. Look around you. You're not in this fight alone. We will face our enemy together and together, we will defeat them. Doesn't matter what the press says, doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say, does it matter if the whole country decides something wrong is something right? This nation was founded on one principle above all else, the requirement we stand up for what we believe no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob or the press or the whole world tell you to move. Your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth and tell the whole world. No, you move. They found him in a sort of trance. A happy smile on his face at intervals. He was still heard to murmur. Poop. Poop. The rat shook him by the shoulder. Are you coming to help us toad? He demanded sternly. Oh, glorious sight. Nematode. Oh, bliss. Oh po po. Oh my. Oh my. How, stop being an arse toad. Cried the mole despairingly. And to think I never knew went on the toad in a dreamy mono time. All those wasted years. Oh, what flowery truck lies spread before me. What dost thou shall spring up behind me as I speed on my reckless way. What are we going to do with him? Ask them all. Nothing at all. Replied the rat firmly.
