LA Cecilia was born from a search for excellence when our founder, Eugenia Robustas, traded his finest horse for malbec vines in 18 90 we were the first to plant the variety in Mendoza's Uco Valley at the foothills of the Andes Mountains, which today is recognised as one of the best areas in Argentina for premium wine making.
