Now we're gonna take a look at one of the greatest actions we can take to prevent infection. Handwashing germs easily spread when you touch your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Follow these five steps to correct handwashing to create a strong defense against infection. Wet your hands with clean running water, then apply soap, lather your hands with the soap, ensuring that you rub the backs of your hands and between your fingers, scrub your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds. Rinse your hands thoroughly under clean water. Dry your hands completely with a towel regularly. Washing your hands can help increase your defense against germs, but let's see some good workplace habits that can help us avoid them altogether.
