most time sheets will be generated by your employees when they start shifts from either the deputy smartphone app or the dedicated time clock app on a tablet. A digital time sheet is created, which stores the exact to the minute detail of who has worked where and when. On the time sheet approval page, you'll see a list of employees and their time sheets based on your locations and date range settings. If they've clocked against a shift that was scheduled, you'll see how they start and end times and any breaks compared to what was originally scheduled. You can also see if the staff member has left any comments, as well as the answers to any pre and or post shift questions you may have configured. Time sheets can be approved individually or in bulk per person. And with the correct permissions, you'll have full control over the editing of any aspect of the time sheets. Rest assured all history of any changes or updates to the time sheets are tracked in the history tab, where you'll be able to see what values have changed, who changed them and when. If the employee has clocked in and out with the smartphone app, you'll see a graphic that determines where the person was in relation to the location or area of work. If they use the time clock tablet app, you'll see a photo of the employee taken at the moment of clocking in and out. You can also create ad hoc time sheets useful if someone came in last minute to help out or if you're creating an unexpected sick leave time sheet, for example, so that completes the quick overview of how time sheets are created and managed in deputy.
