I'm a female, London-based British actress who's trained at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) and The University of Cambridge (BA Hons English Literature and world famous Cambridge Footlights Theatre Company). As well a professional career in stand up comedy in and around the UK, plus acting for stage and screen, I'm a highly experienced voice over artist with a professionally approved home studio set up.

Experience: Helen has 10 years experience doing voice overs for radio (commercials and drama), podcasts (corporate, commercial, fiction and non-fiction) corporate voice overs for business (presentations, animations, product demos, explainer videos, tutorials, internet) audiobooks (for children and adults, a series regular for several best selling authors), animation and cartoons, video games and computer games, narration (for fiction and non-fiction books, story-telling, cartoons as well as business presentations), English Language Teaching (for children, adults and businesses), documentaries (for charity commercials and television) and commercials (online, television and radio).

Accents: Helen's accent is naturally British RP with a warm, rich tone that is immediately engaging and familiar. Helen's training in classical acting and background in live comedy (Amused Moose New Act of the Year Award 2017, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, BBC 2's The Mash Report, HOLMES & WATSON with Will Ferrell), leaves her adept at a wide and characterful range of voices, with the capacity to perform both USA (neutral, mid Atlantic, North American) and Australian accents to native standard (she was raised in Sydney for a large proportion of her teens). Other accents for which she is often employed are French, Spanish, Irish and various regional UK accents. Her work in animation and cartoon character voices is known for its originality and verve, including Essex teens, Upper Eastside ladies who lunch, LA Yogis, squeamish school boys, anxious librarians, and fantastical goblins galore. Age range: Helen is 33 years old but can adapt to fit to any casting naturally and believably from shy young boys and bolshy girls, teenagers, 20 somethings, 30 year old women who are gregarious, silly, assertive, confident, bold, hilarious, vibrant, anxious, informative, charming, easy going, commanding, professional, neutral, narrator, or corporate to middle-aged 40 or 50 year olds who are warm, caring, acerbic, strict, educational, dismissive, domineering, professional or calm, to women in their 80s. A talented and versatile actor, with great presence on the mic, Helen brings natural instinct, truth and warmth to the work, regardless the casting brief, and her experience taking direction on set and in response to a live audience means she's always ready to adapt to whatever the client requires.
