this book is about how to travel as a way of life for years. If you want, I'll talk about how to find work and build a career, study abroad or move for work all while pursuing your passion for seeing the world. I'll describe myself in more detail further on in this chapter, but for now I just want to say that if you're looking for proof of concept that living and traveling abroad can work. I offer myself as a pretty good example of what you can accomplish My own work and travel history contains a vast array of experiences, from frugal budget trips to some pretty luxurious travels. To say that I've worked a wide variety of jobs would be an understatement. I've taught financial economics at the Check University in Prague, worked for startups in Australia and New Zealand, intern for a political party in Ireland, worked the Wells Fargo trading floor in the US and even did some modeling in Korea. I currently work a remote online marketing job for an American company called Empire Flippers. If someone had told me years ago that I could earn over six figures without having to step into an office. I would have thought it was a joke. I used to think that those types of opportunities were only available for experienced developers, but that's my reality. Studying abroad introduced me to the idea of living and working overseas. I took a summer course in Bergamo, Italy, and completed a two year, fully funded MBA in South Korea. One of my first international jobs was working with the University of Missouri's Study Abroad program Organizing and Managing Study Abroad Sessions in Prague.
