Every business comes down to space. Just look at a bottle of Heinz ketchup, it's shaped like a narrow bowling pin so that more bottles can fit on a shelf. The label is small compared to most food packaging, as a way to keep manufacturing costs low. And you know how you can never seem to get the last few ounces of ketchup to pour out. That's also by design, it forces people to go out and buy another bottle sooner than they would have otherwise.
