the African Lion Lion's habitat consists primarily of Savannah grasslands and desert bios. This species is considered vulnerable as they are less than 20,000 lines left in the wild, and the population is decreasing. Lions hunting prides and are very efficient at ambushing their prey by sneaking up on them and surrounding a herd of antelope and then attacking the weakest individual of the herd.
