At Sheffield S U. We use the single transferable vote system or STV for all our elections under this system, voters rank candidates in order of how much they want them to win when votes are counted. If no one wins the election on first preference alone, the other preferences cast by voters are redistributed until someone wins. The final election results will be announced on Thursday the 10th of March at seven PM.
