the eternal quest for happiness since the beginning of civilization, human beings have been seeking lasting happiness. Mystics pondered how one could find sustained joy while living deep in the mountains. Philosophers wondered how a person could feel they were living their greatest lives no matter what was going on in their outer worlds. And modern day writers have offered many different theories on how a person can find contentment in a world where there has never been so much uncertainty and turbulence. Of course I am no different from you. I seek happiness within every day of my life and just as I am sure it's the case with you, I have my good days as well as my bad days. I believe the real goal to strive for is to feel eternal peace and happiness on the inside, no matter what is going on on the outside. By this, I mean, we cannot control life. It will unfold according to its own logic, but you can control the way you that you interpret and process what is going on externally for you. Why our lives unfold, the way that they do is one of the life's greatest mysteries. You exercise your own authentic power as a human being when you use everything that happens to you, the apparently positive, as well as a seemingly negative, as a platform to feel greater success. Internal peace and happiness. Happiness as a human being also comes from fundamentals that I know you already know of living your life from a frame of reference where you are devoted to helping other people living in a way that allows you to have loving relationships with all those who surround you taking daily risks, so that you grow into more of who you are meant to be, and dedicating yourself to leaving a legacy, so that you are more than merely successful. You are significant deep within you. You already know the way to happiness in your life. Reading books, listening to authors speak and visiting retreats. Only helps you remember the truth that already resides within your heart as a great philosopher, Khalil Gibran wrote in his strikingly beautiful book, The Prophet of What can I speak save of that, which is even now moving within your souls and often waters deeper within our hearts is revealed only through the experience of silence. Through the inner work I have done on my own personal path. I've come to realize that the highest possibilities of our lives are revealed within the quiet spaces of our lives Over the coming 30 days I invite you to carve out some time to be alone and to ponder the following big question of your life, what needs to happen over the course of my life for me to feel authentically happy. Once you start arriving at some of your answers, you can make those wonderfully important course corrections to reclaim your greatest life inspirational courts. Thus is the true joy in life. The being used for a purpose, recognized by yourself as a mighty one. The being opposed of natural instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy George, Bernard shaw.
