A Wall Street ratings firm is downgrading its outlook on the entire US banking system to negative. Moody's investors. Service said it lowered its outlook from stable to negative to reflect the rapid deterioration in the operating environment following bank failures that prompted federal regulators to step in. Moody's also warned of potential downgrades to First Republic intrust Financial Unb Zion's Bank Corp, Western Alliance and Maryland's jobless rate is holding steady at 3% according to the state labor department. The figure is the lowest on record. Preliminary data from January shows Maryland added 8200 new jobs. The greatest increase was in the leisure hospitality sector which accounted for 4500 new positions declines were noted in professional and business services, mining and logging. The state fire marshal's office in Talbot County is investigating a suspicious fire. A planet aid clothing bin was found burning Sunday evening.
