The impasse involves the potential inclusion of vouchers for non public schools in Governor Josh Shapiro's spending plan and it appears the political parties are not backing down. Senate Republicans passed their version of the spending plan last week with the provision of $100 million for the pass program house Democrats are opposed to the vouchers.
