About Russell

Russell Binns is an award-winning full-time professional voice artist. His voice is described as warm, reassuring, confident, conversational and engaging for commercials, explainers, documentaries, video games and e-learning. He has worked remotely, from his home studio, with one of the world’s biggest brands - a Fortune 500 Company - on their global advertising campaign. His native accent is authentic RP British but he offers a variety of vocal styles and accents, including London-cockney, Irish and Northern England, and has a super-fast turnaround. Russell works from his broadcast standard studio equipped with the Neumann U87ai microphone, the legendary Coles 4038 "BBC" ribbon microphone, the Grace Design M101 pre-amp, Clarett+ 4pre interface and bespoke recording booth made by SessionBooth. Source Connect Standard (version 3) and Source Connect Talent (version 4) are subscribed for remote recording. He is a member of the British actor's union Equity, and has worked with clients around the world on projects in film, tv and radio - as well as corporate. He has an actor's ear for interpretation, and offers a clear and comprehensive revisions policy.
Russell narrated 'A Flammable Planet', WWF's animation, which won the Webby award for best animation on the Web.
