Since late January of 2020, Washington State has been ruled under mandates that were initially stated to only last a few weeks, and then a few weeks became months. And now, almost two years later, with a low mortality rate of 1.2% from COVID cases, the real cost to the public has been ignored. I want everybody, yeah, yeah, mhm. With declining rates of infection during the summers of 2020 and 2021, COVID is looking more like a severe flu. Why have our policymakers make a cure worse than the problem? We will be requiring our state workers and our contractors who come onto our sites and workers in private health care and long term care settings to be vaccinated as a condition of further employment Will be requiring all 13,500 executive branch employees to be vaccinated by mid October. Could it be the real crisis is not about preserving public safety, but about a permanent loss of individual rights and freedom? People now see the blatant overreach and abuse and are starting to fight back. Mm hmm.
