Day three Step 9. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Now imagine it is a nice afternoon and you're sitting on a beach or your favorite place to relax. A place where you feel safe, uncomfortable. Good. Let's transform your unloving thoughts and behaviors that mistreat you into more loving ones. Some relationships are one sided. We give and the other person takes. This is another way we mistreat ourselves. Are they there when we need them? Are they always too busy to help us? Not only is this not being loving towards ourself, but we're actually training the other person to mistreat us the next time they have some excuse for not helping you. Not reciprocating. Say to them, we have a good relationship and I know that you would never take advantage or hurt my feelings on purpose, but I notice that when I need your help, you're always too busy. That hurts because I always say yes when you ask, even when it isn't convenient, friends do that for friends. For relationships to thrive, we have to be honest and say when someone's behavior isn't loving, otherwise we're mistreating ourselves good. Now go back to your favorite place, feel the breeze and the sun on your skin. How does it feel to know that you are in charge of no longer mistreating yourself, breathe fully and breathe resistance out. Now slowly open your eyes and notice your surroundings
