Gail Shalan

Gail is a warm, vibrant, authentic voice talent with a wide range and a pension for play. She has a reputation for her natural and smooth girl-next-door tone, but is also skilled with character and dialects. Based in New York City, and primarily working out of her fully equipped home studio, she is also a classically trained actor of stage & screen, and a practiced puppeteer. She loves collaborating with creative minds to bring visions and voice to life in any medium. She has voiced documentaries, animated films, radio plays, and has narrated over 20 audiobooks; working with Blackstone Audio, Chatterbox Audio, (Website hidden)'s Audiobook Creation Exchange, Berkshire Media Audio, and others. Most recently Gail narrated Robyn Schneider’s best-seller—Invisible Ghosts— for Chatterbox Audio (UK release ) and the three-book Listen To Your Heart series by Margaret Lake (ACX/Audible, 2018) while earning her Master’s in Acting at the world-renowned Bristol Old Vic Theatre School (UK). She taught a workshop at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School on Audiobook Production and Narration for the Actor in 2018 and was selected as one of Audible’s ACX University Up-and-Coming Narrators of 2015. Gail is proud to be represented by Transatlantic Agency for Audiobook Narration and is currently seeking Commercial VO representation.
