Is your knowledge still working when you're not. Despite revolutionary changes in technology over the last decade, the fundamentals of what you do haven't changed very much. You communicate ideas by writing, speaking, teaching and consulting. You offer products and services based on your knowledge. Your website can be so much more than just text. Think for a moment about most of the websites you have visited, the vast majority of them contain predominantly text and some static images. Right now consider the following information studies show that over a period of three days, the retention of learning for adults is as follows. They remember 10% of what they read, 20% of what they hear, 30% of what they see. 50% of what they see in here. Now, given the ease and affordability of creating and adding multimedia to a website, doesn't logic dictate that you would want to give your visitors as many options as possible to receive and retain your message. What is more multimedia addresses issues relating to handicap web accessibility, global markets with language challenges and markets with potentially low literacy rates with all of these possibilities. It is important to develop an EBUS strategy that uses them to your advantage and maximizes your return on investment in your website and e marketing. Are you effectively leveraging the internet to build your business, make more sales or generate more leads? If your website isn't building your mailing list, educating your prospects and bringing you new leads on a daily basis, you're leaving money on the table.
