Then I took the trauma lens course and it helped me realize why someone might react that way they may have previous or ongoing trauma in their life that can impact their job search, motivation and behavior. I learned that by supporting my job seekers through a trauma lens, I know how to avoid triggers while guiding them in their job search and job retention. Not only did I learn the definition of trauma, I also learned there are three types acute complex and racial it is and there are a lot of resources you can go to, you should check them out. Yeah. The resources not only helped me understand the types of trauma better, but they also helped me think differently about our job seekers.
