A rainbow is a colored arc that appears during or immediately after a rain shower. It's caused by the sun shining on the drops of rain. A ray of sunlight doesn't pass directly through the raindrops. Instead, the ray bends as it goes through the drops of water and is separated into the different colors that make up light. The larger the raindrops in the air, the more spectacular the rainbow will be. Which colors will you find in a rainbow? Click next to find out.
