Mia Fothergill

Hello! I'm Mia and I began acting professionally at the age of 9, so I have nearly 40 years experience of working in and around this industry! I now work as a voiceover artist full-time from my well-equipped home studio, a little bit north of Toronto.

For a flavour of my voice, think warm, knowledgeable, authentic and friendly, with either an authoritative or a fun tone, depending on the project! Over the years, I've voiced commercials, narrated projects such as corporate and social media videos, LOTS of explainer videos, documentaries, podcasts, eLearning and educational material, mobile apps and video games! I also have nearly 20 years experience working in a medical field, so medical narration is a specialty of mine, alongside other technical or legal narration. I work mainly in my native British RP (Standard BBC English), though I can also showcase other regional British accents if you prefer.
